This necklace features Thai sterling silver "coral" with Carnelian cylindrical, round and rondelle beads and Thai silver cornerless cubes
It's possible that this silver "coral" was once used as money, but I need to do a little more research into that. For now it adds just the right amount of heft, a lot of texture and kinetic energy. All in all I'm tempted to keep this one!

Almost all of my work is one-of-a-kind (although I do like to work in series around color palettes). I string on soft flexible cable wire, preferring the Flex-Rite brand. I use only sterling or gold filled crimps, and my favorite clasps are Indian Silver S-hooks and Bronze or White Bronze hook & eyes.
