New Jade is a light green form of Serpentine, sometimes called Korean Jade, a term also associated with Olive Jade, another form of Serpentine.
In Chinese culture dragons symbolize power, luck and strength and in particular control over rain, typhoons and floods. Chinese emperors were believed to be descended from dragons and children born in the year of the dragon are thought to be good leaders and generally fortunate in life.
