Vintage Czech Prosser molded brown glass short tubes 4x3mm
The reddish brown that's in almost every trade bead, in perfect condition, on extra long 26-inch strands
My biggest problem when I started making jewelry with African trade beads in the early 70s was that I hadn't bought enough small African beads to go with the larger, fancier beads, and new spacer beads were much too bright. Later I made sure to buy plenty of small ones.
This molded bead-making technique was invented by the Prosser bothers in 1830's in Bohemia (now Czech Republic) and named after them.
Great quantities of Prosser beads were made for the African trade
