The dots are applied after the powderglass bead has been removed from the furnace, removed from the mold, cleaned and polished.
The glaze used to make the dots is made up of finely powdered glass mixed with ceramic coloring agents and a little water. It's applied with a pointed stick.
The amount of work in these small beads is stunning!
