The dots are applied after the powderglass bead has been removed from the furnace, removed from the mold, and cleaned and polished.
The glaze used to make the dots is a paste of finely powdered glass mixed with ceramic coloring agents and a little water. It's applied with a small pointed stick.
The amount of work in these small beads is impressive!
