Long strand of Krobo powderglass beads, 17x12mm on long 32-inch Stran
The pattern was created by the original very laborious method of layering tiny amounts of white glass, interspersed with blue glass, layer after layer. It's an impressive feat and an attractive result.
A look at the ends of the beads shows how the blue and white glass powder was deposited in 6 pie shaped wedges per layer. I'm tempted to keep this one because I don't think we'll see more of this technique now that adding designs with a form of glaze has become the rage.
