Vintage Indian silver pendant of "Sacred Footprints" This pendant most likely represents Vishnu's footprints because of the umbrella above them, a typical Hindu symbol.
Similar ones are called Buddha's footprints.
In both cases the intent was to remind followers that the venerated person, or deity, was present here on earth, and left a path for us to follow.
