Granulated Indian silver pendant with star designs, 27mm diameter
This granulation is more reminiscent of that used on Turkoman beads, and unlike the Indonesian style where each minute silver ball is attached individually, these may be cut from textured metal sheets, or more likely created by hammering silver sheet into a die stamping die. The latter is the method used for making Rajasthani plaque amulets and pendants.
