21-inch long necklace composed entirely of Guatemalan jadeite. Three large (27mm diameter) very softly faceted, discs with graduated set of long and short cylinders 10 to 8mm diameter. The beads were carved in the Jade Maya workshop of Mary Lou and Jay Ridinger, the archeologists who re-discovered the source of ancient Maya jade in 1974, centuries after it had been lost due to conquest by the Spanish
