Gorgeous collection of near perfect antique giant "padre" style beads
They range in size from 13-20mm diameter with large holes on 25-inch strand
These are probably Dutch from the late 1700s or early 1800s, or possibly Chinese from the same period. Sadly I can't remember where I found them. They could have been African, or possibly I found them northern Thailand or even India, where they seem to be in great demand as people are trying to buy back beads their ancestors loved.
They might even be a mix as they were restrung by on linen cord - one of the only materials available for bead stringing in the 1970s
The more I look at them the more I'm conflicted about selling them so if you want them get them while you can.
Only one available. For the smaller size see Padre beads AFT-224
