White bronze hook & eye clasp, 20mm long with ring
When I'm not using sterling silver, this is my clasp of choice. It's easy to use, budget friendly and holds it's shine extremely well. I use it on much of the jewelry that I make for museum stores.
White bronze is a non-allergenic alloy of copper, tin and zinc that is becoming increasingly popular in industrial uses, but is not yet common in jewelry parts.
Its many benefits include that it looks like white gold or silver at a lower cost, doesn't corrode, is resists wear, is non-magnetic, smooth, and non-porous so it holds it's color and brightness well.
