Not the for the bar to pass through the ring the beads at the very end must be very small, about the same size as the chain.
The clasp can be used for a three stranded necklace or if you put the toggle in the front you can attach embellishments to all 6 pieces of chain to create a cluster pendant. You can always remove one or more of the chain bits...
