Sadly each of these beads has taken some hard knock in its 100-year plus lifetime. All have exquisite grinding to show the beauty of the chevron pattern, but each also has a flaw
28x18mm perfect except of a chip that goes 5 layers deep into the core
19x17mm again a gorgeous mid size bead before it took a hard hit leaving some surface cracks, there's also evidence of a trapped air bubble that was exposed in the grinding process, leaving small bits of the blue outer layer missing
Finally 21x15mm another deep crack near one end.
I've seen beads in worse shape than 19x17 used in jewelry, but there are other uses for valuable but distressed beads. I've seen people slice chevrons in half and set them in silver to make rings or earrings. 28x18 and 21x 15 each have one perfect side. These could also work in an educational exhibit or collection.
