Use a split or jump ring to hang a small pendant, a bead, or a cluster of small gems below the circle. Then maybe add another bead at the top before connecting to the earwire. Second image shows how I use a similar ring to connect caged gems in an earring. (Those gems are coming to Beadazzled soon)
The process for making a custom pendant is the same, just add a bail at the top instead of an earwire and attach a tassel, pendant, or beads to the bottom of the ring.
Finally, use these as spacers between sets of beads in a necklace or bracelet - the uses are endless!
