Very dark brown (almost black) bone with spiral design, 25mm diameter
At first I thought these were a variety of batik bone beads, but on closer inspection I thought they might be inlaid, but now I've decided that the entire bone slice is dyed dark first, then the design is created by removing the surface dark layer to expose the white underneath.
