Amber is soft so avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives as well as ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
The people I bought this strand from recommend wiping it with a soft cloth. If deeper cleaning is necessary use warm (not hot) slightly soapy water with a soft cloth. They also recommend a silver polishing cloth to bring up the shine if necessary. I would test this out on an inconspicuous space first to be sure it works and doesn't damage the amber.
