Beautiful, large speckled jade Axe blade shape pendant
20mm wide at top by 45mm tall, nearly 2mm hole near the top
Hand carved by Maya artists living and working near the ancient Maya site of Copan, in Honduras. Where my sister also spent 2 years working as an archeologist in the 1980s.
This lovely stone speckled light and dark green. Jade is an extremely hard stone, cutting, drilling and polishing is a time consuming and laborious process.
