Vintage Venetian teal "Watermelon" chevron beads on 20-inch Strand
These beads are created in a multi-step process just like the blue chevrons, but then for some reason the ends are pinched so you barely see the 4 layer chevron pattern inside
But it's the points of the white stars underneath the thin teal outer layer that give these beads their watermelon-like stripes.
The teal color is much more rare than the green so these cost more
Made in Venice, Italy, early 1900s for the African trade
Only one available
