These beads are priced and sold as a set of 6 beads
These are earlier than most trade beads except the Peruvian ones (GLA-48)
This is indicated by the light aqua color of the inner layers
It takes a good magnifying glass or loupe to see that these are at least 5 layer beads: blue, white, red, white, aqua. At least one looks like 6 layer: blue, white, red, aqua, white, aqua. I regret that I don't have the photo equipment to capture these layers. Overall in very good condition for their age. One has a big chip exposing the red layer on one side.
Sizes range from 7x9mm to 10x10mm
Made in Venice, Italy probably 1700s or early 1800s for the African trade
Collected throughout my 50 year career in the bead business
Only one set like this available
