Strand of 19 Tibetan Faux amber beads about 17x19mm strung into a 22.5-inch necklace on brown decoratively macrame cord with shell button closure.
These are one of several new faux amber options being offered by Tibetan dealers in Tucson. I wasn't able to get any reliable info about where or when they were made.
For the price they are nice looking beads, some shaped to simulate wear, but the glossy finish convinces me these are new.
