I'm using the term "faux amber" to designate resin beads that have been created to imitate various kinds of vintage African amber
These oblates (squashed spheres) replicate the most popular traditional shape, and their weight is also similar the originals
They are a little more expensive that other amber imitations, but the quality of these beads more than justifies the cost, at a fraction of the cost of the real vintage African amber beads.
These faux amber beads have become some of my best sellers recently so I'm working toward bringing you all of the sizes in most of the colors.
