When I bought a bunch of extraordinary Afghan Lapis collars a few years ago I got inspired to take them apart and reimagine them in new ways.
This is one example: Five large trapezoidal segments connected through double holes, extra gold spacers filling the larger gaps between the beads in the lower row. The two strand becoming one to go around the back. Gold plated spacers. 21 inches
To see the original collars see GMO-68, GMO-72, GMO-74, GMO-70 & GMO-80

All my work is strung on soft flexible cable wire. I prefer the Flex-Rite brand.
For more info about beads I use see the Gemstone Beads section of this website.
Just like in the Beadazzled stores, I hope you'll shop, but I'm also offering my work as inspiration for your own designs.
