Guatemalan jadeite axe blade pendants combined with gold plated versions of a similar shape, strung with Guatemalan serpentine and a little carnelian, The cost is all in the jadeite pendants from Mary Lou Ridinger's Jade workshop. She and her husband Jay discovered the source of ancient Maya jadeite in 1974 after many years of searching. The workshop produces excellent examples of old and new bead shapes. I find their jewelry a bit boring so I focus on the components and string them my own way.
Designer: Penelope Diamanti
All my work is strung on soft flexible cable wire. I prefer the Flex-Rite brand.

Just like in the Beadazzled stores, I hope you'll shop, but I'm also offering my work as inspiration for your own designs.
