Cast brass or bronze, 35mm from head to tail
I found this and an identical one with more brass color showing (MBC-66) in the antiques section of the Lima Central Market in about 1985
I don't think they are antique, but were probably cast from something that was, Inca or one of the other Pre-Columbian cultures
I might not have considered this a natural cat pose, but just yesterday I watched a little stray who comes by for food and some love, relax into just this pose, with front and back feet crossed
