Vintage Indian brass beads decorated with dots 19x5mm on 31-inch Strand

It looks to me like these were cast, possibly by lost wax method and subsequently machine drilled. If so these could be the pre-cursors of the latest Indian bead-making venture: brass beads.
They are made with a combination of hand and machine assisted techniques in small workshops and I find them a nice addition to the world of beads. Many styles recently uploaded. Find them all in the Brass & Copper sub-section of the Metal Beads Collection. Enjoy!
