Mini-collection of 5 faience beads and a pendant from Ancient Iran (Persia)
The pendant has a clean break at the bail, but I chose not to glue it but rather share it as is as an educational and affordable addition to a bead collection.
The broken area gives a peek into the core of these ancient faience beads
Beads include one very nice melon bead 10x13mm and four round beads ranging in size form 8 to 15mm
The pendant and the melon bead retain some of the brighter blue glaze, which is quite unusual for beads of this age
Few of us have the opportunity to handle beads that are thousands of years old
These date from between 100 and 500 AD
