The word garnet comes from the latin for pomegranate because the fruit's seeds resemble the stone. That's especially true for these glowing 4mm round beads

In early European traditions garnets were said to support faith and fidelity while helping to banish sadness. Some believed it could also protect wearers from wounds and bleeding.
