Looking like a mix of Lapis and Malachite, Azurite is a deep rich blue copper mineral which turns to green like malachite as it weathers giving the stone its 2-tone effect. This suspiciously low-priced batch might not be natural. I got in Tucson from a vendor I haven't dealt with before.
Known and loved since ancient times, Azurite continue to inspire.
Metaphysical writers recommend Azurite for stimulating both the intellect and intuition which makes it helpful for students, including being a "student of life"
It is found in Chile, Australia, Russia, China and the USA
