Aquamarine’s name derives from, aqua, the Latin word for water. Sailors’ legends claim it came from mermaids’ treasure chests, and tell of its ability to calm rough seas and prevent shipwrecks.

These would certainly make a bold statement necklaces, but could also serve as "pocket stones", key fobs, curtain or fan pulls, or just be decorative or soothing rocks to have around. Look for other colors too...
