They're made of pure Hill Tribe Silver plated in the USA with a thick coating of 24k gold. They are the only vermeil clasps I personally use because the coating is the most attractive and durable of any I've tried. My friend who supplies them has tested the plating by running them through his tumbler for 30 minutes and they still come out gold plated.
