Recommended for glass or gemstone beads under 8mm, or other beads of equivalent weight. For larger/heavier beads consider the .018 diameter and for smaller/lighter beads consider the 49-strand .014"
After trying them all, I find the Flex-rite brand is has flexibility and strength as good or better than other brands, at a better price. Try it and see.
