Meticulously shaped and stamped on 4 sides these showcase the skill of the silversmiths
Only one strand available
These are a dream come true for minimalists who work with tiny gemstones
Tiny beads aren't my favorites,
but these are hard to resist, I pair them with equally small faceted gems or faceted glass for popular and affordable designs
With a little more weight than the Rice/Pepper seed strands, these drape beautifully (on appropriate stringing material) as the faceting adds a tiny sparkle
Thai Silver beads and pendants are made from 96 to 99% silver vs sterling, which is only 92.5% silver
Our Thai silver (aka Hill Tribe) is made by Karen smiths and other ethnic groups living in villages in the highlands of the Golden Triangle near Chiang Mai. In addition to the beautiful soft glow of the fine silver, the work is meticulous, often featuring detailed stamped or etched designs in traditional, as well as contemporary, shapes and patterns.
Finer silver tarnishes less than sterling, but adding a polishing cloth to your silver purchases is always a good idea. Regular gentle rubbing will keep the silver from needing to be cleaned with harsh chemicals.
