Remnants of a vintage Naga 19-strand necklace composed of very dark, very round, very hard natural seeds, embellished at the back with White Hearts and smal blue and white striped seed beads.
The center and the ends of the necklace are missing, presumably the ends wore out and something more valuable was removed form the middle, possibly carnelian beads
It's an interesting artifact, or a trove of unusual, very durable, very round, and almost black seeds of some kind. They are so sturdy, hard, and perfectly round I thought they they might be wood, but I cut one open and they're real natural seeds that could have many uses in lightweight organic jewelry.
Plus there are about 50-60 inches of white hearts and vintage stripe seed beads at the ends.
Mom's not around anymore so I can't ask about the story behind this or what it cost so I'm pricing it as salvage. I hope someone who appreciates the parts can figure out something great to do with these beads.
