The labor to make these beads is almost unimaginable, but I've met, and seen the guys who make them at work, under very primitive conditions. For example their drill was powered by a man peddling bicycle!
In fact these beads were commissioned by an archeologist interested in how similar beads were made in Ancient India and Pakistan.
These were bought nearly 20 years ago, similar beads are still available, but none this tiny.
