Extra long strands of perfect flattened antique Venetian green watermelon beads. Watermelon beads are actually chevrons, which you can see if you look carefully at the ends.
12x10mm beads on 35-inch strand, only one available.
When I was first shopping for beads in West African markets in the early 70s the standard length was from the trader's thumb to his elbow. This is one of those strands. As prices rose, the strands got shorter so that today many are only 20 inches or so.
And it's even harder today to find strands where every bead is perfect, as they are on this strand.
I use these little "treasures" sparingly in earrings, bracelets and long necklaces.
Pro tip: the ends can be a bit uneven, so 3 or 4mm round bead ,or even a size 8 seed bead, right next to these evens things out to help them hang smoothly
