The strand is another way to date these beads. In the early 1970 to early 1980s the strand of all kinds of African beads were 28-30 inches - twice the length from a trater's thumb to his elbow. Then "shrink-flation" began and strands got progressively shorter.
The colors are not flashy, but this is a set of beautifully made beads from a long gone era of Krobo beadmaking
