Round 14mm olive (wine bottle) green powdered glass with embedded red, white and green seed beads make these beads stand out among contemporary powderglass offerings. In addition the surface has been ground to silky smoothness, an attractive trait that I wish more Krobo makers would adopt.
Round Krobo beads start out in a mold just like the cylindrical ones, but once the glass has softened the mold is removed from the furnace and a stick is used to individually twirl the beads around against the sides of the mold at different angles to create a rounded bead.
