Set of 4 brass, newly made versions of traditional Ethiopian hair rings
The outer diameters average around 18-20mm, Inner diameters 10-12mm
These are sometimes called Wollo rings because they come from an area in northern Ethiopia that used to be known as Wollo Province. The people of Wollo were among the strongest followers of Christianity and built many churches and monasteries. Today the area falls with the regions called Amhara, Afar and Tigray.
