Collector set of 5 antique Bohemian molded glass amber imitation beads
Set includes one chubby like-new oval 28x22mm, 3 short cylinders 11-19mm diameter and one 12mm oblate bead. The two smaller cylinders show well (better than in the photo) how the Czech glass beadmakers mixed slightly different tints of a color to mimic the "agate" effect of stones or amber.
Only one set like this available
Bohemia (now in the Czech Republic) was a prolific maker and exporter of glass beads for the African trade from the 1850 to about 1900.
